We wake to a mild 53* with heavy grey clouds. The trees look spooky this morning, with just their limbs showing ~ they appear as skeletons ready for Halloween. The crow of our neighbor’s rooster (who still has not mastered his crow yet) mingles with the chatter of my favorite Red Bellied Woodpeckers as they make their way to my feeders. We’ve a mild day ahead, with our temperatures expected to reach into the 70s!!! I am quietly praying the snow, which is currently falling out West, makes its way to us…and quickly!!
I FINALLY have four spun cotton Jack-O-lanterns ready. Well, three Jack-o-lanterns and one CaT-o-LaNtErN ;). They will be listed on my website this afternoon (and will be shipped out first thing tomorrow morning which MAY give them a chance to reach you by Halloween. UP NEXT TURKEYS & SNOW FOLKE, Linen & Wool Applique Stockings and BEARS!!
I have caught the little man’s cold, which is the reason I did not post yesterday ~ a busy day, orders to fill, and a cold….there’s only so much one can do lol. My apologies. :(
I hope everyone had a great week ~ here’s to better chatting, from me, next week, and here’s to a wonderful FINAL weekend in October.
Be well, Doreen

Doreen I love the spun cotton pieces! It is 70 here today but tonight rain comes in and lasts all weekend and temperatures drop into low 40’s tomorrow morning. We might see a few flakes and sleet so maybe your wish for snow is heading your way! ❄️ Hope you feel better soon! 🎃🐈⬛
Absolutely adorable pumpkins and cat o'lantern. Hope you get well soon!!
