Good morning Doreen your pumpkins are coming along beautifully! I can’t wait to see them painted. Our weather today is warm before rain comes tonight and tomorrow with cooler temperatures in the upper 50’s. Enjoy your day working on your pumpkins 🎃
I admire you for liking spiders 🕷 they absolutely creep me out!
Goode morning deare Janet. Thank you so much. They are in the oven now...FINGERS CROSSED!!! Next up, aging and adding details.... eek.
What are you working on these days?
Awe, thank you, I like snakes too... I have quite a large house spider that I see in the living room, every now and then...I am quite sure she is living in a large basket of wool strips I keep on a dresser in that room. Just think of the interesting life she must have. I saw her just the other day an told her to scurry along as I was going to start the roomba lol. :)
I am working on finishing a round robin project with my high school quilter “sisters”. We each started out with an idea for a patriotic primitive wallhanging. We each made a center…mine is appliqué lady liberty. Then
Then we pass them around each adding a border. I am putting Pennys with stars for the last border before I send to Nancy….two borders are plenty. Linda is hosting us next week for a fall blast from the past. We are all in our 70’s.
Can't say the same for the spider. I do not like them, but I don't kill them. We have a neat bug grabber that picks them up without hurting them and then we throw them in a potted plant outside the back door. From there they are on their own. When I lived in Southern California, we had a lot of black widows. I would go out at night and shine the flashlight around. The red spot on their belly reflects the light. Those I killed with a shot of wasp killer, then go out in the morning to be sure they were dead. Their bite can kill, and they bite animals as well as people. Didn't want my dog or cat getting bitten.
